Celebrate the Musical Legacy of the Fab Four with Force of Nature Productions
“Here Comes the Sun.” “Yesterday.” “Hey Jude.” And, of course, “All You Need is Love.” The Beatles, as a group, lasted barely a decade. Yet John, Paul, George, and Ringo remain responsible for some of the greatest and most memorable songs of all time.
Join us this March as we honor the Fab Four in our own, unique way, with a Beatles-themed RUSH play festival, appropriately titled “All You Need is RUSH.” Seven original plays inspired by some of their most iconic tunes.
Brought to life for the first time in 2016, the RUSH is Force of Nature’s unique play festival format, uniting actors, writers, and directors in a collaborative whirlwind of creative energy. “All You Need is RUSH” is our 18th such show.
The premise is deceptively simple: playwrights select a handful of prompts by lottery - in this case, a song, prop, location, and character inspired by the band, plus a randomly drawn cast - to author an original, short play. Directors and their casts then rehearse, tech, and mount the entire production over just a few weeks. It’s fast, fun and always results in a memorable show for audiences and talent alike.
Just three performances:
Friday, March 22 @ 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 23 @ 8 p.m.
Sunday, March 24 @ 2 p.m.
at the Brickhouse Theatre
10950 Peach Grove Street
North Hollywood, CA 91601
Tickets are $24
They're available in advance at fonprods.tix.com or at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
Shows will be staged in compliance with current Los Angeles County COVID and venue guidelines.
